My husband decided to try this place and I'm glad he did. He ordered it via door dash and it came nice and hot. Chicken Samosa: They were delicious ????. The green sauce was no Bueno but the brown sauce was mmm mmm good. These were the highlight of the dinner. Lamb Curry: Baby that Lamb was tender as they come. It's more gravy like but the combination was alright with me. Chicken Tikka Masla: My husband enjoyed it. I'm not such a fan of spice and but he tore it out. I'll definitely order from here again.

Historically, I stop by to get a lunch only once in a year, around October-November. However, the Prince of India's remarkable Tandoori Bread basket has been my treat any time of the day/season for quite a while. This standalone collection of fresh naans is an absolute delight; it is also known to have a very positive therapeutic effect on my colleagues in distress (I am being serious). Finally, it totally puts to shame [frozen] versions of what some stores dare to call 'naan'.

This place is amazing. I just started college in the area, and I’ve been missing home food. Prince of India is so good; it satisfies my craving for good Indian cuisine with affordable prices. I’ve been here every week!

I have been to the place at least three times, and it is incredible food. The only issue is that I purchased a coupon from groupon and I used it but then I wanted to buy again, but it does not let me do that. I have asked restaurant owner, and he says I need to talk to Groupon. I think he could make an effort and he will lose the customers. Overall best Punjabi food and buffet is, and mango lassi was great. You have Alcohol too. It is more of North Indian food and never order chicken biryani and because they are not good at it. Garlic Nan is incredible.

We have tried many different Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh, but nothing comes close to Prince of India! For years this restaurant has served us authentic, flavorful North Indian food. We are never disappointed when we eat here. Highly recommended!

Lunch buffet $10.69 with tax. Buffet has four hot vegetarian dishes and four hit non-vegetarian dishes, plus naan, sides, and dessert. Nice seating and bathroom downstairs.

On a tour of the Pitt campus, we stopped by to get some lunch. We tried the paneer, chicken biryani, rajmah, and matar paneer with naan. We really liked all of the items, and the quantities were good. The chicken biryani tasted really great, and the chicken pieces within were amazing. Both of the paneer curries were not too oily, and had the right amount of creaminess to taste. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The seating options were good, and it has good visibility. I will definitely be back to this restaurant!

No buffet on Sundays, but they cooked us dishes to order off the menu. I tried a different kind of bread than our usual naan; this one is fried. Look out! There's a big jump in spiciness from mild (no curry) to medium. I found the mild flavorful enough, but my husband rued his decision to order medium. The entrees are large enough that we each took home half for lunch the next day, making the prices a steal. (He did have to add sugar to make his palatable.) Service was fine. We had the place to ourselves to watch the Indian music videos on the TV screen.

So yummy every time I get it. My go to spot for Indian. Huge portions so it always feeds me twice.
